What we collect

When you RSVP: your name, email, optional mobile number, age range, city, what brought you, topics you care about, dietary notes, potluck choice and your consent choices.

When you join Notes From The Table: your email, optional first name, topics and how often you'd like to hear from us.

When you ask to join The Group: your name, email and optional phone number.

How we use it

To save your seat, send confirmations, reminders and event details, coordinate the potluck, and follow up after a gathering.

To send Notes From The Table if you've confirmed you want it.

Your details are never sold, never published, and never shown to other guests. Potluck lists show dishes, not contact details.

Private-home addresses

When a gathering is in someone's home, the exact address is only shared by email with confirmed guests after Mariam approves it. Please keep it to yourself.

Photos & video

Photo and video consent is always optional and separate from your RSVP. If you say no, we won't share images of you. You can change your mind any time by replying to any of our emails.

Emails & unsubscribing

Event emails relate to gatherings you've RSVP'd to. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can update your topics or leave at any time.

Who helps us

We use trusted services to host the site, store data securely and send email (currently Google's Gmail, and in future a dedicated email provider). They only process data to provide those services.

Your choices

Want a copy of your details, a correction, or everything deleted? Just reply to any email or write to mariamfemi@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
